Our very special tour will begin in Antananarivo, where we will depart by car, but before catching a hotel we will visit in the Ivato crocodile farm, also called “Croc Farm”. Spanning three hectares, this lush green oasis is ideal for you to relax, we know that having an international flight is tiring.

After, we will depart by car to your nice hotel, where a prepared-room with a comfortable bed will be available for you to rest. Once there, refresh yourself. Look by the window, you made it! Take time to unpack what you need for tonight, rest and be ready for tomorrow! Discover the City of a Thousand as you are taken to hotel where you will stay overnight. And in the evening after dinner, over a cocktail we discuss our program.

From the first day to the last day our experienced and professional guide and the driver will be next to you, so don’t worry about it, they are near to make sure you have everything you need. Tomorrow we are leaving the capital city.

This morning, depending on the flight schedule, we will proceed to your transfer to the airport and flight to Diego Suarez.

Let’s enjoy it and discover this amazing place. We get started at the famous bay of Diego Suarez. Start gathering highlights from today on: enjoy exploring the beaches, swimming in the sea before going for a walk along the coast. Relax. Enjoy the view of the picturesque Sugar Loaf Mountain. Delight in the baobab trees and the traditional fishing village of Ramena.

«Three bays» of Diego Suarez. Their name evokes the change of scenery... French Bay, Sugar Loaf, Bay of Sakalavas, Bay of Pigeons, Bay of Dunes, Cape Miné, Orangea, Ramena... This "tricolor" trip offers a course with infinite color palettes, in all its nuances with its succession of bays and beaches, the white of the sand, sometimes pink, sometimes golden, sometimes blond. A lunch taken from lunch baskets in the heart of the Dunes’ Bay and we continue towards the numerous military vestiges from the Colonial past - the Miné cape, the lighthouse, cannons, and Orangea beach, where we will stay until late afternoon.

Later on, dinner will be served at your hotel, and you will stay there overnight. We will have a unique experience here as we will stay overnight in the tree bungalows – literally huts built in trees!

Montagne des Francais reserve, a unique and exceptional area of adventure and discovery – a tropical dry forest with Baobab trees, caves, fish eagles and lemurs.

The camp is a tourism center located at the very opening of a world of adventure in the natural park of “Ambohitra Antsingy”, at the heart of “La vallée des perroquets” (Parrot Valley). The Jungle Park is the door to the world of adventure. This is a place that brings pleasure to all those who travels with us.

This place is an incredible starting point to a huge variety of activities as well as a world-famous spot for climbing, but also trekking, caving, moutainboarding, bird-watching, mountain biking, bush golf, archery etc. Enjoy in a massif exceptional with an endemicity rate of more than 90%.

This morning we will hike to Sakalava bay and Emerald Sea.  With beautiful white sand and a shallow lagoon with pristine waters this is a perfect family destination to end your time in Madagascar. It is protected swirls of the Indian Ocean by a coral reef and the islands Nosy Diego and Nosy Suarez, and closed by the Babaomby peninsula where proudly stands a native forest, dominate by the baobabs with their size. Other islands framing the Emerald Sea are: Nosy Antaly Be, Nosy Antaly Kely, Nosy Lava and Nosy Toreky.

You have a time to enjoy the activities in this wild beauty place. Snorkeling, swimming, or simply relaxing are among the interesting leisure activities. Beside sunbathing and swimming, Emerald Sea is ideal for snorkeling, kitesurfing and windsurfing. We can organize day excursions kitesurfing to Emerald Bay and to the islets. Animations and laughing are on the program! At the same time, a picnic lunch of seafood in the menu will be prepared by a team of professionals.

You can choose to extend your stay with some extra days on the beach if you prefer.

After breakfast, early in the morning we will take the track by car for 1 hour to reach wild lake at the side of Sakaramy village. Then we will start to explore the Lake "Mahery" a lake of volcanic origin. We will the discovery of the village "Sahasifotra” first eolian village of Madagascar.

We will continue this hike inside the forest of Baoabab suarezensis for 3 hours, we will slowly go up along canyon forests, where we discover baobabs and lemurs (couronatus, fulvis), the rare smallest chameleon broockesia dispariata, and reach a viewpoint.

In this place, we will have lunch-picnic, a rest in with a 360° view to Diego bays that we will admire from the height, sunset and memorable moment with animations for a fun time.

Are you keen to explore the Amber Mountain National Park? After breakfast, we will take circuit to Montagne d’Ambre National Park. This park is the older park in Madagascar, it was the first stated protected. With variety and very rich in fauna and flora, it’s a paradise for naturalist. Today we will make amazing discoveries. This day you trek to the beginning of the core of this primary forest the sanctuary of endemic fauna. This mountain is enriched by endemic species like 77 species of birds, 7 species of lemurs and 24 species of amphibians. The park is home to two species of nocturnal lemurs and five diurnal species, especially the crowned lemurs or Eulemur Coronatus. These primates live in harmony with reptiles, amphibians and endemic birds. If you are lucky, you will see the smallest chameleon in the world, the brookesia. Flora: orchids, fichus, large and old trees. The park is also rich in waterfalls, craters, which supplies water to the town of Diego Suarez, with extraordinary panoramic views and beautiful scenery.

You will discover the "Grand cascade et medium circuit". After lunch-picnic we will continuing to the circuit “1000 arbre” and go down to the camp. Just enjoy strolling around, don’t think about dinner. We’re taking care of it at the camp where you will stay overnight.

We will spend the day exploring the forest trails and waterfalls in the Montagne d’Ambre which is rich in both animal and plant life (including orchids).

The amazing Montagne d’Ambre, covered by lush vegetation and thick green mantle of rainforest, reaches 1475 m at its peak. And as a wonderful oasis, it towers up in the middle of a dry savannah.

After breakfast, we will departure to reach the magnificent viewpoint inside the park “Olioli circuit” and reach the lake, sanctuary of birds, such as Madagascar coacal (toloho), and many other forest birds such as rock throch.

After breakfast, we will head to reach Curve Lake for 5h hike In this scenery is gradually different we will discover many kinds of orchids and many kind of fauna such as birds: especially fish eagle. Also lemurs and amphibians.

Even people who are not passionate for ornithology will be fascinated by the countless species birds that may be encountered in these places: the Madagascar Crested Ibis is quite impressive to be noticed by everyone, just like the paradise flycatchers with the long feathers of its tail. The forest thrush of the rocks is less wild, and can be found everywhere, while the black and white magpie robin is everywhere. Luck, however, comes with the most beautiful birds of Madagascar, the burrowing similar to pitta. The 75 species of birds recorded in the park include the little crested kingfisher, the Pycargue which is the largest raptor of the island, heron, hawks, parrots, owls, wild pigeon, sparrow. Take your time to look for the rare Madagascar fish eagle (Haliaeetus vociferoides). Red crested couacals (Coua serriana) live in the tree tops, too. There is also here three species of bats including the fruit bat from which the name "station of the fruit bats" comes.

This morning, depending on the weather and clouds, after for 3 hours ascent we find ourselves on the peak of the Amber Mountain itself at 1475 m high and enjoy a spectacular view over all the forest beneath you and a magnificent view of the northern tip of the island between the Mozambique Channel to the left and the Indian Ocean to the right.

Then we will go down to reach Antsalaka village. We will discover the daily life of the population, visit the Katy plantation (plant), litchi fields, and visit the school.

Early full breakfast then departure on car 4x4 towards the Red Tsingy and the fisher village of Irodo. 2h 30 drive on the track linking the Red Tsingy to Sakaramy, which includes crossings of fords, quagmires and altitude climb... After drive by a beautiful red dirt track and crossing by a river, you will discover this beautiful and fragile place, architectural masterpiece of laterite carved by rain and wind.

Birdwatching in the morning, then we will go down to the canyon for 2 hours of discovery. After lunch, taken from Lunch baskets, we driving down to Irodo village and crossing the palm valley to the mangroves of Ambolobozo and drive to Baobab forest, then continue to the bush village of Andranomena, where you will stop for the night in a charming guesthouse. Dinner at d'hôte Madame Violette's.

Surprise! This morning we will set off by canoe along the mangrove fields to see close to you the propithèque de perrieri and we will also be able to see some the black lemurs. There is great bird watching along this river.

After canoeing, we will drive by car for 2h 30 to visit the cultural place and legendary Antagnavo Lake with crocodiles and its amazing history, in the village of Anivorano.

Picnic lunch at Anivorano and we continue the move to Tsingy Ankarana, 1 hour drive. After, we finish our day by watching the sunset with a magnificent view of the Ankarana National park. You’ll enjoy marveling at stunning Tsingy massif.

In evening, you can exploring the lodge and its surrounding.

How your yesterday’s little stroll in the surroundings? Today you will have a great day to explore this amazing Ankarana National Park with the Tsingy and the canyons. Accessible at any period of the year by the Eastern side, the beauty of this unique landscape will make your passage a real disorientation. In dry seasons, its western part will surprise you even more: the big sinkhole and the caves, the canyons as well as the suspension bridges are real treasures, and always sparkling.

The trails are not easy but are feasible for anyone with a moderate level of fitness. Our discovery plan can vary depending on your physical conditions. Still, if you suffer dizziness, please stay safe by refraining yourself. Depending on your interest and physical conditions, several types of tours are suggested through the reliefs, dripstone caves, and natural trails.

During your stay in Ankarana, you will discover the vast subterranean network of the massif which will reveal you a big part of the values of the Antakarana culture. In addition, we will make a walk for several hours towards the "Small Tsingy" and the "big bat cave".

Today we will set off to Ambanja. The road crosses never ending plantations of sugarcane, ylang-ylang, cocoa, coffee, pepper, crove, cinnamon and vanilla. We will add lots of shortstop offs to keep young travellers (and their parents) happy. Once we arrive in Ankify, rooms will be ready for you to settle and rest.

We will be rewarded with the azure blue sea and golden sand at Ankify.  Ankify is a small fishing and farming village with thatched huts and tropical vegetation and is surrounded by a number of sandy beaches overlooking the crystal clear sea.

After refreshing on the beach, for your curiosity, we show you a cocoa of the world-class quality and its secrets. We will visit to the village of healers, with a little adventure. You will see and feel lush green landscape of humid tropical climate.

This morning, we will board a motorboat for a 15 min sea trip to Nosy Komba, the island of lemurs, a jewel of nature. Enjoy this… a stroll and 3S (the sun, the sea and swimming) on Nosy Komba.

Near the evening we return to our boat for a transfer to the port of Hell Ville, center of Nosy Be and a transfer to your hotel. And actually: Hell Ville looks amazing, isn’t that great?!

Nosy Be is the haven of peace received many qualifications from visitors, to indicate its beauty but it seems that the term “ paradise on earth” is best adapted to qualify the extremely rare beauty of this island, which means not easily seen from other parts of the planet. The other terms, like the pearl of the Indian Ocean, does not completely manage to qualify it because it does not evoke the width of its splendor.

The ocean, transparent and pure, is the most obvious part of its beauty. Waterfalls and sacred trees are also sites to come to admire, but the unmissable would be the sunset that you would observe at the top of Mount Passot. On the program: fishing, exploring mangroves or visiting ylang ylang distilleries. You can embark on cruises and tours to archipelagos composed of truly heavenly small islands. Go to Tanikely Marine Reserve where fine sand, colorful fish and unforgettable moments of relax await you. You visit Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve – famed for its world-class snorkeling and diving. You will spend the day on the island of Tanikely – A diverse coral reef and a privileged position in the middle of Bay Nosy Be give it its nickname "a crystal clear natural aquarium" where you will snorkel with colorful marine life, explore the underwater world of anemones and coral, hopefully swim with a turtle or two! Nosy Tanikely with its abundant corals and an exceptional biodiversity offers habitats to many underwater species.

The tropical warm waters and the alluvial supply of the Sambirano river mean that a large number of species have taken up residence on this small islet. Indeed, a varied and spectacular fauna lives all around the island.

Today you will proceed to your transfer to the airport and prepare yourself for a safe flight to Antananarivo. Departure time depends on the day of the week. Transfer in your hotel in Tana.

Established in 1922, PALA is one of the original gem traders of Indian heritage to have settled on Madagascar. Today, the PALA Group is in its third generation of business.
