Nosy Sakatia, the most authentic island of archipelago Nosy Be, is known for its flowers but also it has many other riches. The Orchids Island is still unspoilt piece of paradise, offering excellent snorkeling, diving and moderate hiking. Discover the chameleons, birds or rare medicinal plants that you will encounter during your day which naturally takes place under the sign of discovery.
Your day begins with a ride on a traditional dugout canoe. Immersion in the Malagasy atmosphere that is "mora-mora" where you will take the time to appreciate all that surrounds you.
Departure from the hotel either by car or directly on foot along the beach for you who have chosen hotels near Nosy Sakatia. Transfer to the pier, the rendezvous point with the traditional pirogue which will lead you to a beach of Sakatia (about 15 minutes of crossing).
ENJOY THESE… moments:
One and a half hour walk in the middle of Nosy Sakatia's unspoiled landscapes: fruit trees, acacias, palms, medicinal plants, endemic birds, chameleons, surprising views on totally deserted beaches but also meeting with schools and the fishing villages cut off from the world.
After this nice walk, transfer by canoe to a private beach, the beach of Ambaliha: you will be welcomed with a welcome cocktail. Then, time to bathe in the clear and clean waters of the island or tan and laze on an idyllic beach.
At lunchtime, savor the succulent fresh seafood and Malagasy specialties in the shade of the coconut trees. The guide will then propose you to discover the seabed of Sakatia, either during a walk on the beach or on board a sea kayak. Possibility of safari-turtles.
During the afternoon, you will enjoy this private beach to the fullest, its bar and hammocks, but you will also have the opportunity to take a short tour of the surroundings and the superb views of the island Nosy Be.
Around 16-00, return by traditional pirogue until the departure to pier. Transfer to your hotel by minibus or on foot according to your desires. Return to the hotel at the end of the day.
