Narinda Bay. Mushroom islands and big fishing

These limestone mushrooms, crowned with vegetation, scattered in front of Narinda Bay. They are the result of tectonic movements and climate changes that have changed the level of the Mozambique Canal over millennia. When the low tide discovers their base evasive, it is rock masses. Seem they to be in unstable equilibrium, resting on a fragile foot covered with oyster layers. They have the same origin as the tsingy, the famous stone needles that are found in various places of the North and West Malagasy, calcareous formations eroded chemically by the rains. A fishing eagle, the emblematic ankoay sometimes hovering at the above the islets, adding a little magic to the landscape.

This is The kingdom of the fishing eagle. The bays of the North West, their rocky promontories and their translucent waters are the kingdom of one of the rarest raptors in the world. Total is estimated at a hundred couples his observation is both a matter of luck and patience does not pass unnoticed, measure so centimeters of the heads and the span of its wings deployees can reach two meters. One fish that enters its field of vision has little chance of escaping. Ankoay builds its nest at the top of rocky peaks or in large trees, on the banks of the estuary. When two chicks are born, the one who first hatches kills the younger, which does not contribute to the prosperity of the species.

The bay of Narinda sinks into the Grande Terre, parallel to the coast, for about twenty kilometers. Imagine a fjord bordered with baobabs, you will have almost the vision that is offered to the rare visitors of this remote region.

For lovers of nature and authenticity, for professionals as well as novices of sport fishing, for fishermen and those who accompany them, for you who plan to spend a holiday in Madagascar, with or without big game fishing, Narinda Bay is the ideal destination, with its center of big fishing.

The tip of Narinda Bay, on which the hotel and the big fishing center are located, is part of the "great land", famous for its beauty. All bungalows have been built locally and blend perfectly into this wild place with a very wide beach which awaits you. From their terrace, the spectacle of the beach with the white sand and the crystal clear sea will amaze you.

In the middle of nature, from the terrace of the bungalows, you will sometimes see the facetious and gourmand lemurs, the makis as they are called in Madagascar. The scenery is total and calm immense.

Typical Madagascar cuisine or European dishes, products arrive fresh from Nosy Be or Antsohihy or are caught in the abundant waters of Madagascar. Fish, zebu fillet (beef from Madagascar), lobster and organic vegetables: you will not be able to do without it!

Enjoy these... We offer you various activities: snorkeling, canoe trip; unless you prefer bathing, lazing on the beach or the terrace of your bungalow or, more active, big game fishing, sport fishing. You will also discovery the surroundings, this place of Madagascar very rich in fauna and flora, through a luxuriant tropical forest, following paths that lead to paradisiacal beaches.

A stay at the Narinda Bay, after a day of lazing or fishing, will leave you with an unforgettable memory.
